Mom, Dawn, and Lyla came a couple weekends ago to visit. We spent the weekend shopping and in the pool to cool off from the extreme heat here in Texas.
Lyla all stretched out while hanging out on the back porch:

Olivia and Nana:

Holding Hands!

Checking each other out:

Mama looking a little rough but Livy has the cutest expression:

I LOVE this smile:

And the silly faces:

Daddy and his girls watching Cinderella:

Here, you’ll notice that she has layered her tutu’s. Sometimes, she will come downstairs with 5 on at a time. She is asking me, “Mom, you want to da-ance with me?” in her best southern accent. I have no idea where she picked up such a strong southern drawl but both Scott and I have very homogenized speech.

And the twirl:

What Avery is up to now:
Avery is such a helper! She loves to help do everything I’m doing at this age. Right now, her favorite movie is Cinderella. She loves, loves, loves, swimming including swimming lessons and always wants us to dance with her. “Mommy, you wanna dance with me?” is a very familar question around here. Of course, I always oblige because I want to cherish every moment I can with her and make her feel special. If you haven’t noticed by now, she loves to wear her princess dress and tutus with the addition of her crown. No matter what clothing she has on, her tutu will be on over it.
Here is a classic example with clothes on + tutu + princess dress playing T-ball:

My favorite thing she does on a daily basis several times a day is when she says, “Mommy?” I say what and she says, “Mommy, I love you!” and then giggles. That always melts my heart!
What is Oliva up to at 4 months old?
-She is trying to sit up. She always wants to see what is goin on.
-She loves to stand up and has such strong legs.
-Olivia is a huge smiler and is really starting to belly laugh. Her laugh is so precious!
-She is a great sleeper, sleeping from 7pm to 6am pretty consistently. She still wants to be swaddled though so we are trying to work on getting used to being free.
-She’s a very social baby and loves to talk and coo up a storm.
-She loves being outside just like her sister! Yay!
-She really enjoys watching Avery and gives her lots of smiles.
These are the days that I wish I could relive. The girls are at such a fun age and we have so much fun!
